Sometimes we look at what we have — our strength, our faith, our resources — and it feels so small compared to the challenges before us. But God has always delighted in taking the little things and doing something great. A shepherd’s sling defeated a giant. Five loaves and two fish fed thousands. A widow’s last handful of meal sustained her family through famine.
The same God who blessed the “small things” then still works today. Maybe your prayer life feels small, your faith feels weak, or your service seems unnoticed. Don’t despise those small beginnings. Surrender them to the Lord, and watch Him multiply what you place in His hands. This week, take heart: God isn’t asking you to start big — only to start. And if you’ll trust Him, He’ll help you finish strong.
A prayer to pray: “Lord, help me not to overlook the small steps of faith You ask of me today. Use what little I have to bring glory to Your name”
Grace and peace,
